Kids Collective at Regional Flavours

Snacking, munching, crunching, lunching

Are you a hungry little foodie? Kids Collective at Regional Flavours is where pint-sized gourmets can enjoy a spot of food-focused play.

Located at Central Café Lawns & Arbour View Lawns, Kids Collective has a wonderfully wild feel and a decidedly sustainable bent. Children can get their hands dirty with The Carrot Journey by OzHarvest, a truly immersive experience. From planting to harvesting, packing to shipping and then appearing on our plates each night, they’ll discover the life of a humble carrot.

There’s also a range of colourful craft activities to enjoy. Kids can make their own edible fruit caterpillar, create fruit and vegetable paper art, learn about healthy, rainbow-coloured nutrition and listen to book readings from Brisbane City Council Libraries.

All workshops are free to attend and run from 10am-5pm. Bookings are not required. Activities are re-set regularly throughout the day, so kids can come and go as they please.

For more great free kids activities throughout the year, make sure you visit Kids Collective’s official homepage.
