The Sauce Man was created from humble beginnings in 2015 with a single batch of Traditional Tomato Sauce, created from a recipe handed down over the years. The hyperlocal boutique production company which shares space with the Maidenwell Trading Post, in the foothills of Bunya Mountains, now makes more than 230 products including table sauces and condiments, pasta sauces, slow cooker sauces and marinades, chutneys, relishes and pickles.
On the sweet side, The Sauce Man makes jams, marmalades, cordials, dessert toppings and pastes made from fresh, seasonal, local and native Australian fruits. It also offers lines of pickled eggs, onions and vegetables, chilli products and vinaigrettes. The majority of products are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and low-fat.
