Step into Regional Flavours’ Main Stage for a weekend-long convivial collision of cuisine, culture and celebrity.

Here, the specialty dish is entertainment – served fresh from Australia’s best celebrity chefs and culinary experts including Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris, Miguel Maestre, Sarah Wilson, Katherine Sabbath, Jessica Sepel and Adam Liaw.

Let us take you to a luscious locale, where Queensland provenance reigns supreme. At the Queensland Taste Stage and Marketplace presented by The Courier-Mail, you’ll discover the heart and soul of sunshine state fare.

On stage, local chefs will walk you through exquisite recipes using local produce – think black garlic from Gympie, brilliantly-coloured Lockyer Valley beetroots and melt-in-the-mouth Moreton Bay seafood to name a few.

The Hunting Club

Let your senses be your guide as you happen upon The Hunting Club presented by Meat and Livestock Australia and The Charming Squire.

Part bar and bistro, part stage, The Hunting Club is a fabulous fusion of Queensland’s meat and malt scene. Open exclusively at Regional Flavours, you can head along for lunch, dinner and all-day grazing prepared by popular South Bank restaurateur, The Charming Squire. As you bite into your succulent, sizzling steak or tender cut of lamb, know that your protein is farm-fresh from local families.

Burgers dripping with flavour, smoked chicken wings, zesty poke bowls, decadent cronuts – we defy you to wander past eatSouthBank’s Street Stalls and not be tempted!

These pop-up eateries are setting up shop on South Bank’s Little Stanley Street especially for Regional Flavours, and they’ll be touting a range of gourmet fare for just $8 or less a serve.

A place for those who seek to find, a way to leave their world behind… If rest and relaxation in palatial surrounds is what you desire, venture to River Quay presented by eatSouthBank.

Abound with the gentle hum of mellow tunes plus food and cocktails from some of South Bank’s five-star restaurants; Stokehouse Q, The Jetty, River Quay Fish, Popolo and Aquitaine, River Quay is Regional Flavours’ most luxe location.

They say that simple pleasures nourish the soul and what could be more cathartic than a delightfully effortless picnic?

The best part? Picnic Patch presented by Luvya Lockyer has done all of the hard work for you. Located on the Little Stanley Street Lawn, Picnic Patch is abundant with masterfully decorated tables, cozy blankets and scrumptious food stalls offering fresh produce from the Lockyer Valley.

Snacking, munching, crunching, lunching – are you a hungry little foodie? Kids Collective at Regional Flavours is where pint-sized gourmets can enjoy a spot of food-focused play.

Located at Central Café Lawns & Arbour View Lawns, Kids Collective has a wonderfully wild feel and a decidedly sustainable bent. Children can get their hands dirty with the Potato Journey by OzHarvest, a truly immersive experience. From planting to harvesting, packing to shipping and then appearing on our plates each night, they’ll discover the life of a humble potato. And, they can even take home their own special spud!
